Check
the Boating and Canoeing section in the Activity Menu for excellent
fishing opportunities, whether it's the Potomac River smallmouths,
tiger muskies or big cats ... or trophy rainbow trout during the
spring stockings in both Washington and Allegheny Counties. In addition
to the locations mentioned in Boating, there's also 15 Mile Creek,
Indian Springs Pond, White Sulpher Pond, Orchard Pond, Meadow Ground
Lake ... but hey, why are we telling you about our favorite spots?
Oh, we might as well. Both Hendershot's Sporting Goods and Dugan's
Sportings Goods in Hancock are always telling folks where they are
biting. For more area fishing information and trout stocking schedules,

and Allegheny Counties. Hancock is at the far western end of Washington
County, just minutes away from Allegheny County, and the town is
surrounded by state forests and wildlife management areas. Check

Maryland! We haven't even mentioned all the hunting available
in
nearby West Virginia and Pennsylvania. But those folks at Dugan's

are
roaming and the turkeys are gobbling. And for your archery needs,
visit Appalachian Archery in Hancock ... and for hunting knives
and preparation equipment, we suggest The
Knife Corner. All four stores are on Main Street in Hancock.
